The Jinenkan kobudo organization was founded by Kancho Manaka Unsui in 1996.  The purpose of the organization is to allow students to study traditional kobudo (martial arts of old Japan) under his guidance.  Manaka Sensei has over 40 years experience training in kobudo and holds a masters license (menkyo kaiden) in 6 different kobudo ryu-ha.  These schools include:

・Gyokko Ryu

・Koto Ryu

・Kukishin Ryu

・Shinden Fudo Ryu

・Takagi Yoshin Ryu

・Togakure Ryu

In addition, we also study the Jinen Ryu which was created by Manaka Sensei to teach other kobudo material that is not specifically covered in the above mentioned schools.

Within the 7 schools of the Jinenkan includes the study of strikes, throws, grappling, sword, various length bo (stick-fighting), naginata, spear, jutte and others.

1996年10月に、館長の間中雲水氏が自然流の創設と同時に、自然館を起こしました。以後、アメリカを中心に活動してきました。特に、2000年12月、 館長が自衛隊を退職後は、アメリカ東海岸の旧都ボルチモアに本部を構え、本部道場で教える傍ら、アメリカ及びヨーロッパの弟子達の道場を精力的に訪れ、年に２〜３回のセミナー、あるいはワークショップを５〜６回開き 、弟子を指導してきました。
